How to Type the Delta Symbol on a Mac
Keyboard Shortcut
The simplest way to type the lowercase delta symbol (δ) on a Mac is to press Option (⌥) + J. This will insert the symbol at the current cursor location.
Character Viewer
You can also use the Character Viewer to insert the delta symbol. To open the Character Viewer, press Control (⌃) + Command (⌘) + Space. Then, search for "delta" or scroll down to the Greek section. Double-click on the delta symbol to insert it into your document.
