Dallas Mavericks Defeat Minnesota Timberwolves in Thrilling Game 3

Mavs Take 2-1 Series Lead

Final Score: Dallas Mavericks 109, Minnesota Timberwolves 108

The Dallas Mavericks stunned the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals with a thrilling 109-108 victory on Wednesday night. The Mavericks, who have been underdogs throughout the playoffs, showed their grit and determination in front of their home crowd.

The Mavericks led wire-to-wire in the contest, but the Timberwolves made a furious rally in the final minutes. With just seconds remaining on the clock, Anthony Edwards hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 108. However, Luka Dončić answered back with a clutch jump shot to give Dallas the win.

Dončić finished the game with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists, leading the Mavericks in all three categories. Kristaps Porzingis also had a strong performance, adding 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Timberwolves were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who had 28 points and 14 rebounds. D'Angelo Russell added 25 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Mavericks' strong defense.

With the win, the Mavericks take a 2-1 lead in the series. Game 4 will be played in Dallas on Friday night.
