Team Liquid Move On to TI13 Finals, as Tundra Esports Move to Next Bracket

Team Liquid claims a decisive victory over Fnatic, securing a spot in the TI13 finals, while Tundra Esports moves to the lower bracket.

In an intense game of Dota 2 at The International 2023 (TI13), Team Liquid defeated Fnatic 2-0, securing their spot in the grand finals. Tundra Esports, on the other hand, fell 2-1 to Team Aster and will now face OG in the lower bracket.

Team Liquid's Dominating Performance

Team Liquid displayed their dominance from the start, winning the first game in just under 30 minutes. Fnatic managed to put up a better fight in the second game, but Liquid ultimately emerged victorious after a 42-minute slugfest.

Team Liquid's victory was largely due to their superior map control and team coordination. They were able to secure key objectives and win team fights consistently, leaving Fnatic with little room to breathe.

Tundra Esports' Close Call

Tundra Esports faced a more challenging opponent in Team Aster. The first game was a back-and-forth affair, with Tundra Esports ultimately taking the victory. However, Team Aster responded strongly, dominating the second game in just 25 minutes.

The third game was a tense battle, with both teams trading blows. In the end, Team Aster's superior late-game execution proved to be the difference, sending Tundra Esports to the lower bracket.

Looking Ahead

Team Liquid will now face the winner of the Team Aster vs. OG match in the TI13 finals. The grand finals is scheduled for October 30, where the champion will be crowned and take home a share of the massive prize pool.

As for Tundra Esports, they will need to regroup and prepare for their match against OG in the lower bracket. A victory over OG would keep their hopes of winning TI13 alive.
